Pete's site has over 200 pages of saxophone lessons, articles on composing, recording and jazz theory lessons, many of which were course materials and tutorials Pete used during his time as a composition lecturer at Southampton University.
Pete has been a professional saxophone player and session musician for 25 years. He has recorded with many famous artists including REM, Elton John, Cliff Richard, Richard Thompson & Joe Jackson. He has led his own jazz ensembles as well as playing saxophone with Jimmy Witherspoon, Fats Domino, Thad Jones, Sting, Jon Hendricks, Loose Tubes and many more.
He is also one of the most experienced saxophone teachers in the UK, having spent two years as Head of Jazz & Pop Music at Southampton University where he also gave private saxophone lessons. He is currently unable to give lessons due to pressure of professional commitments as a composer, but is happy to advise if you are looking for saxophone lessons in the UK.
